For a while I did a daily post called, “This Day In Music”. It started as a simple email exchange between my uncle and I, and actually was a large part in the creation of this website.
There is a small downside to “This Day In Music”. That is, for significant events to be noted, you must know that they are significant. And something I see as a little concert rage news headline that passes me by may someday be the equivalent of the hells angels being security guards at altamont speedway. Needless to say, me need a new way to have fun with music.
So I present to you my new daily routine. One that will be a bit trickier to pull off, but can be done with a little help from you folks and some creativity. This new project is called, “cubicle classics”. The main goal being to provide those of you with a 9 to 5 something to listen to while you work. Each day I will post a new widget containing an entire album for you to listen to. We will start with the more obvious albums by the usual artists we all know and love, and eventually wander off into the darkness of things you’ve probably never heard.
I need your help though! In the comments section for each days cubicle classic feel free to let me know of an album I may be missing or an artist I may not have heard of.
Today we present you with Willie Nelson – Red Headed Stranger. An album that picks up pace as it goes. To, ya know, start you off slow on a Monday morning and eventually get you moving.
It’s easy to use, just click the first song in the list below to listen to the full album, or pick any song you wish to hear. Enjoy…
